— Legal and transparency
Stated exactly as registered.
An organisation that asks institutions to be honest about their own performance has to be honest about its own. This page carries the Council's legal identity, its policies, and a plain account of what it has not yet published.

Status of these documents
These policies are drafted as complete, professionally structured starting points. They are not legal advice and have not been settled by counsel. Clauses requiring legal review, or a decision the Council has not yet made, are marked in amber within each document. Every marker must be resolved and removed before these policies are relied upon.
05
— For funders
What a prospective funder should know before asking.
CSR partners
IPEC's registrations enable it to receive CSR funding. Whether a specific contribution meets a company's obligations under the Companies Act is a matter for the company and its advisors. The Council's CSR Partnership Principles set out how it works, including its position on independence of findings.
CSR Partnership PrinciplesIndividual contributors
Contributions support the Council's public benefit initiatives. Registration under Section 80G enables eligible donors to claim tax benefits on qualifying donations, subject to applicable law. Contribution Terms explain how contributions are applied and when they can be refunded.
Contribution TermsForeign sources
Contributions from foreign sources are governed by the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010. IPEC has not published an FCRA registration. Until it does, prospective international funders should raise this directly before making any commitment.
Contact the CouncilGovernment departments
IPEC does not claim any existing memorandum of understanding, empanelment or formal partnership with a government department. Programmes delivered to date are recorded on Our Journey, with the participation figures the Council holds.
Our JourneyQuestions
If something on this page is unclear, ask.
The Council would rather answer a difficult question directly than have a prospective partner infer an answer from silence.
