An independent initiative. The NEP 2030 Strategic Forum is an initiative of the International Process Excellence Council. It is not a government policy, a government programme or a government-endorsed framework, and IPEC does not speak for or on behalf of any government body.

Why implementation matters

India’s National Education Policy 2020 sets out an ambitious agenda for the transformation of school and higher education. Comparatively fewer organisations work on what implementation actually requires.

Practical governance models. Institutional capability. Process excellence methodologies. Outcome measurement frameworks. These are not policy questions; they are implementation questions, and they determine whether policy intent becomes practice across many thousands of institutions.

The Forum was created to work on that layer — independently, collaboratively, and without duplicating the work of government. It brings together educators, researchers, industry professionals, administrators and policy practitioners to co-create implementation frameworks.

Insights from the Council's university and school engagements informed the Forum's design. Each strand exists because the pilot programmes showed what happens when it is missing.

03 — NEP 2020 → NEP 2030

The transition is not a new policy. It is the work of making one land.

The Forum's stated purpose is to facilitate the transition from NEP 2020 to NEP 2030 through measurable, evidence-based and scalable implementation models, contributing to the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.

04 — How the Forum is governed

A Draft Core Committee, and six Excellence Committees.

The NEP 2030 Draft Core Committee serves as the principal academic and strategic body responsible for developing the framework, working under the guidance of the Board of Directors.
