Quantum technology education is being built while the field itself is still forming. Faculty are designing curricula, laboratories and research programmes with few established precedents to draw on.

IPEC developed and delivered the world's first Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification Programme customised for Quantum Technology and Quantum Computing, in partnership with Advent Global Foundation, Hyderabad.
03 — Who was involved
Approximately 350 professors working in quantum technology and related fields.
04 — What was learned
The initiative demonstrated that quality management principles can complement advanced scientific disciplines rather than sit uncomfortably beside them, and that they strengthen institutional capability precisely where precedent is thinnest.

The programme established IPEC's model for faculty-level certification in higher education and shaped the Council's subsequent work with universities.
